We do a lot of preparation to make sure that your pet's experience at our clinic is a positive one. This started with the design of our hospital and extends to the care and attention you and your pet receive before, during and after their appointment with us.

Here are some of the steps we take to make our practice low stress for your pet:

  • Asking all new clients to fill out a Pre-Visit Questionnaire

  • Minimizing wait times in our lobby, and utilizing in-room check-outs

  • Separate dog and cat exam rooms

  • Using dog and cat pheromones in their respective exam rooms and treatment areas to reduce stress

  • Using treats for positive reinforcement and distraction during treatment

  • Handling and restraining pets in ways that increase their sense of security

  • Understanding each pet's anxiety triggers and knowing how to avoid them

  • Discussing low stress principles that pet parents can implement at home and in the car
